Welcome to 395 Squadron! I wish everyone all the best in 2010. Last October, the squadron was presented with the Regional Commander’s Achievement Award for being the Top Squadron in Alberta for the 2008-2009 training year. This is a tribute to the many levels of organizations involved with 395 Griffon Squadron. It speaks to the leadership of the squadron and the excellent collaboration with our sponsor (West Edmonton Rotary), our parents’ association, the Provincial Committee of the Air Cadet League of Canada, HMCS Nonsuch and all the cadets and parents of cadets involved with 395 Griffon Squadron. To all of you, my heartfelt thanks. My staff and I remain committed to delivering the same level of training that has made this squadron a role model for others to emulate. To my staff and senior NCOs: commanding is a privilege; commanding 395 Griffon squadron is a much greater privilege. Thank you for your commitment and your leadership. J.F.D. (Don) Ste-Croix, CD
