If you show up late after attendance is taken, please report to the Squadron Office. CADET ANNOUNCEMENTS: SATURDAY Feb. 4th: ุ KARATE Cancelled this week. ุ DRILL TEAM Cancelled this week. ุ SPORTS Cancelled this week. ุ AVIATION DAY OF TRAINING #2: MANDATORY TRAINING DAY! Saturday, Feb. 4th 10:00 am 4:00 pm at Aviation Museum. Lunch is provided. Dress in full uniform. Level 3s need to bring bottle caps, wire coat hangers & safety gloves. Instructors schedule posted on door of training supply. PARENTS! PLEASE PICK UP YOUR CADETS NO LATER THAN 4PM. THE MUSEUM WILL BE LOCKING PEOPLE OUT AT THAT TIME, SUNDAY Feb. 5th: ุ POWER FAM FLYING Cancelled this weekend MONDAY Feb. 6th: ุ BAND: 6:30 9:00 PM at across the street at the Aviation Museum. ุ GRIFFON PARADE: Tue. Feb. 7th, 7:00 8:30 pm. Full uniforms with medals. 417 Squadron will be attending. There will be a Coin Presentation to all cadets who have fully completed 3 years. All Family members welcome to attend. ุ Legion Medal Nominations: Any cadets interested in getting the Legion medal are to pick up an info sheet. ุ Effective Speaking Contest: Resumes on Feb 28/12. See Lt. Boyle for speech topics. ุ CANTEEN: There will be no canteen next week due to the Griffon Parade. ุ Glider School Candidates: The course has been extended by 1 week. Start date July 4 and will run for 7 weeks. ุ Lost & Found: There has been some jewelry found. If lost please see Administration. PARENT ANNOUNCEMENTS: ุ BINGO: We have a bingo fundraiser on Sat. Feb. 4th at Kensington Bingo from 10:30 am 3:30 pm. Volunteers are still required (9 adults & 4 cadets/siblings 14+), sign up at Parents' Table. Next Bingo is Sunday, March 4th; volunteers can sign up at Parents for this or any future bingo. ุ SILENT AUCTION: Saturday, March 3rd at Strathcona Legion. Donation request letters are available at the Parents' Table. Donation items can be turned in to Bev Norton, the Parents' Table or any Executive member. Tickets will be available for $10 each in February. This is a non-cadet, adult only function. Come out and have some fun! ุ Spirit Wear: Pick up at Parents' Table. ุ Northern Lights: Requires volunteers ages 18+.
