Within the Air Cadet Program there are 2 uniforms the cadets will receive. How to wear the uniform is just as important as how to take care of it.
There are 2 documents to refer to on how to wear each uniform.
Returning Cadets:
September is dedicated to uniform exchanges. After September there will be no more exchanges until December at the earliest.
Try on your Blue and Training Uniform, including headdress and boots. Ensure you have all of your uniform parts, they fit, and they are serviceable.
Wash both of your uniforms before cadets starts on 2 Sep.
Bring in all cleaned/washed uniform parts needing exchanges to the unit on Tuesday nights in September to Supply for new parts.
New Cadets:
You will start to get your Training Uniform mid-October.
The exact date and time for your uniform issue will be in the order your joining paperwork is completed and validated.
Until you receive your uniform you will wear a white collared shirt, black pants (no sweats or gym style clothes), and sturdy shoes. You will also need to bring a pen/pencil and notebook. Please talk to your Level Officer if you have questions about the dress expectations.
Ongoing correspondence will be done through your Cadets 365 account.
